Delivers the correct gas mixture to grow anaerobic or microaerobic organisms at a fraction of the cost of gas generating envelopes.
The Whitley Jar Gassing System is fully compatible with our range of Whitley Workstations A fast automated system system for those laboratories that cannot justify a workstation for incubating anaerobic or microaerobic organisms such as Campylobacter spp. The Whitley Jar Gassing System runs from one cylinder of mixed gas and easily fits into any laboratory routine. There are separate cycles to prepare anaerobic or microaerobic conditions. One simple press of the start button initiates the chosen sequence of evacuation and gas replacement in the jar. The same button then flashes a few seconds later to indicate the completion of the cycle. An LCD shows the user the point of the cycle that the jar has reached and will indicate if there is a problem, eg a leaking jar or blockage. The sequence is automatically aborted should a problem occur. System Features Compact and safe, the unit creates the desired atmosphere in seconds - compared with an hour when using gas generating envelopes - and at a fraction of the cost; 2.4 pence for microaerobic and 9.6 pence for anaerobic when using the Whitley Jar Gassing System. Samples are cultured using best practice and the need to stock bulky consumables is eliminated. Please let us advise you of your most cost effective options whether they involve the Whitley Jar Gassing System, workstations or a combination of both. |
